Accreditation
|
The ability to collaborate in the pursuit of common goals helped The RiverWoods Company earn accreditation from the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) in 1998, just four years after RiverWoods at Exeter opened its doors. Only 10 percent of CCRCs throughout the country are accredited. To maintain excellence in the delivery of services to seniors, RiverWoods routinely assesses its performance through a program of self-study conducted by its board, residents, and staff. This assessment was designed by the American Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and enables an organization to measure itself against predetermined quality standards.
