RiverWoods is fortunate to be located in a community with leading healthcare services. Exeter Hospital, named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s 2009 Honor Roll  which recognizes adult, acute care hospitals whose performance is among the top 25% of those measured nationally on a set of composite quality and patient experience measures, offers comprehensive services in breast health, birthing and reproductive medicine, cardiovascular, occupational and employee health, oncology, orthopaedics and emergency care.  The Exeter Hospital has an affiliated network of physicians and more than 1,500 employees.  Exeter Hospital provides care to an average of  6 ,000 in-patients and 35 ,000 emergency room patients per year.  The acute care hospital has working affiliations with the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center for radiation oncology services; Massachusetts General Hospital for the Telestroke program; and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, through the hospital’s medical oncology group, New Hampshire Oncology Hematology Professional Association.
